26 died on Florida. roads on Thanksgiving weekend

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol says 26 people died over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Preliminary data for all law enforcement agencies that was released Thursday shows this year's death toll was three more than last year but 10 fewer than in 2009.
State troopers also issued more than 12,000 traffic ticket, about the same as last year.
They also assisted nearly 3,000 motorists and made 136 arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
