The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a double homicide in Old Town.
A man and woman both in their 20s were found dead inside a blue GMC truck parked at a public space near 19th Street and Old Town Road around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, APD said.
“It does not appear to be a murder suicide, just based on what we were able to see up there,” APD Det. Lorenzo Garcia said. “I can't really divulge that information yet until we go through the process of getting all our ducks in a row and finding out what the true cause is.”
Detectives said there was a bullet casing found outside the truck but police cannot say with certainty how the couple might have been killed.
