Newark Police said Friday that the man is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old. A man of the same description was seen twice in October, twice in November and most recently on Thursday. Police say the man has been seen wearing a shirt but no pants and also totally nude.NEWARK, Del. — Newark police are looking for a man who has been seen on at least five occasions either naked or only partially clothed in public.
The incidents occurred late at night or in the early morning hours on the west side of the city. The first report came in on Oct. 6 when officers were told a man wearing a plaid shirt and no pants jumped out of the bushes at a construction site off Elkton Road.
On Oct. 13th, officers were told a naked white male was streaking on Apple Road near Elkton Road.
On Nov. 26th, officers were called to Willa Road, near West Park Place, after a male reported he was followed by a man who appeared to be engaging in lewd behavior.
On Nov. 28th, a female reported she was walking home and observed a male, walking on West Park Place minus clothing.
The latest incident occurred on Dec. 1 on Devon Drive. A female, who was walking in the area, saw a half naked white male. The witness said the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and no pants, was 6 feet, two inches to 6 feet 5 inches and weighed 180 to 210 pounds. The feamle stated that as she walked by, the suspect appeared to be engaged in lewd behavior.
According to the Associated Press, Newark Police say the man is believed to be between 25 and 35-years of age.
A man who fit the description was spotted twice in October and twice last month. According to the AP, the man was spotted most recently on Thursday.
Police report the man has been seen either wearing a shirt without pants or totally nude.
